KISIM Administrative Implementation Guide

Introduction

This Implementation Guide (IG) describes administrative FHIR profiles used within the KISIM ecosystem to support the exchange of administrative and contextual information between hospital information systems and connected applications.

The focus of this IG is on structural and administrative resources that are required to reliably represent healthcare professionals, care teams, and related identifiers in a Swiss healthcare context.

Scope

This IG defines:

  • FHIR profiles for administrative resources such as Practitioner and CareTeam
  • Identifier modeling based on institution-specific and Swiss eHealth OIDs
